The Faxon Patented 16" Pencil, 5.56 NATO, Mid-Length, 4150 QPQ Nitride, Integral Muzzle Brake AR-15 Barrel is a top-of-the-line option for your rifle build. Made in-house at Faxon's Greater Cincinnati, Ohio facility, this barrel is designed to be lightweight, accurate, and efficient. With a pencil profile, it provides a significant reduction in weight while still maintaining its accuracy. The integral muzzle brake ensures reduced recoil and muzzle rise, allowing for faster follow-up shots. Additionally, it meets the NFA 16" minimum barrel length requirement.
The barrel is constructed from 4150 CMV steel and features a QPQ Nitride finish for added corrosion resistance and durability. Gas blocks and barrel nuts fit over the integral muzzle device. Backed by Faxon's Lifetime Guarantee, this barrel is a great choice for any AR-15 build.
Quality is imbued into our barrels from the start. We start with the best materials, either certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless. From there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.
